WOW! Whale Sharks are Super Cool. Possibly the most incredible thing I have ever seen. Big Friendly Giants. We swam 4 times with a monster male whale shark- an experience we will never forget. On the first pass he turned and came right through the middle of our group and split us into 2 groups on either side of him. Another time he came to the surface from directly under us.
The night before, the Foster/Stephens crew camped out but we had to stay in the cabin again due to wind and rain. We were all a bit worried that it might have been cancelled but turns out the swell was less than 1 meter, visibility was 30 meters and there were plenty of whale sharks about. Even Imogen and India got in the ocean and had a look.
Oh, and we also had a great day snorkeling and fishing the day before- lots of fish biting again and caught quite a range although the really big one that Dad hooked ran out to sea with all his gear!
